OMA sponsorship of Self Development Grant
Since the turn of the Millenium, and thanks to the efforts of former OMA Chair David Case, the OMA has a grant scheme that enables us to sponsor current students and recent leavers (who are University) with their self development. We prefer to provide grants to those who can show that their activity will lead to a positive benefit to themselves or the wider community.
Eligibility - current student at Manwood’s and OMs who are currently at University
Amount - requests of up to £250 will be considered.
Process
Complete the attached application form. Request for Financial Support from the OMA towards a Self.docx
Applications on the relevant form should be completed
Submit the form to the Head Head@srms.kent.sch.uk to ensure that it is a valid application from a current or former student
The form will be sent to the OMA who will make a decision about whether to award a grant.
Once the student has completed their , they will need to write a report that will be published here and posted to the OM Facebook page and OMA newsletter so that OMA members can see how their financial support has brought benefits.
