Join the Old Manwoodian Association

Sir Roger Manwood's School has had a former pupils club / society sincee 1899 and the OMA was established in 1919, so we have a long and proud history of connecting OMs to each other and to the school.

Membership of the OMA is £10 a year - less than two drinks in the pub or three coffees. The money is used by the OMA to support the school and over the last few years this has included:

  • £7,000 towards the refurbishment of the pavilion
  • £650 to help pay for new mats for the indoor cricket nets (matched by £650 from the Friends of Manwood's)
  • £4,000 to help pay for the new music recording studio (with an additional £6,000 from the legacy left by Bob Ford OM)
  • Paying for a 'snow' machine for the school's production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
  • £500 to support the school's switch to energy efficient LED lighting
